CnES has just published guidelines for music teaching and instruction in all Comhairle schools. These will help teachers plan and co-ordinate the various components of young people’s musical experience and enhance partnership working, between class teachers, music specialists, Gaelic singing instructors, and visiting instrumental instructor. The guidelines support the principles of the national Youth Music Strategy and A Curriculum for Excellence and are intended to provide a framework for connecting learning in music with learners' wider learning experiences.
